On December 9, 2023, Grammy Award-winning composer Gabriela Lena Frank and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Nilo Cruz will present a new musical portrait of Frida Khalo and Diego Rivera in Los Angeles. In this tribute to one of history’s most pivotal love stories, Lina González-Granados leads a cast full of international talent, including Daniela Mack, Alfredo Daza and Ana Mara Martnez. A folklore-inspired score brings Frida and Diego’s love-hate saga to life through the artists’ own emblematic paintings.
