Families in Lincoln Heights are invited to a back-to-school giveaway and resource fair on Saturday, August 9, hosted by Councilmembers Eunisses Hernandez and Ysabel Jurado in partnership with Healing Urban Barrios.
This free, block party-style celebration returns for a second year to serve hundreds of Angelenos, featuring backpack giveaways, food distribution, games, live music and even a classic car show.
Over 30 community partners are expected to be on-site, offering resources such as health screenings, educational materials, and free haircuts to help students feel prepared and confident as they start the new school year.
