With record high hate-motivated crimes in recent years, people aren’t always aware of what resources are available to them or what different agencies can do to help. With the Stop the Hate grant program, organizations like St. John’s Community Health and the AAPI Equity Alliance are not only able to provide victims and witnesses with more support, but also create programming to build cultural competency within communities.
The Stop the Hate Grant program allows CALÓ News to better report on hate crimes and the resources combating them. For more coverage on this topic in Los Angeles, read our reporting at CALÓNews.com.
