The CDC released a food safety alert of a listeria outbreak found in queso fresco and cotija cheese of many brands, including Don Francisco, Dos Ranchitos and Campesino.
In California 8 people have been sick, a total of 26 people in the country and 2 have died.
The government agency recommends not to eat recalled cheeses, crema and yogurt. The types of cheeses also include Oaxaca, panela, requeson and ricotta.
