Isel is a dedicated communicator and strategist amplifying Latino, American Indian and Alaska Native representation in media and policy, with a background in pro-democracy advocacy. She has worked with leading advocacy organizations across the movement, including Our Revolution, Indigenous House, IllumiNative, Community Power Collective, Keep LA Housed, CA Native Vote Project, and United for Democracy — driving digital campaigns around housing, education, COVID-19 response, civic engagement and the Census. An organizer first and a communicator second, Isel got her first experience in movement work as a teenager active in the immigrant rights struggle, and has spent years since pairing on-the-ground organizing with social media strategy that turns campaigns into movements online.
