An annual health fair offering free check-ups, screenings and more to the Latino community is back in Phoenix this weekend.

Organized by the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (AZHCC), the 8th Annual Community Health Fair will take place on Saturday, July 26 at Phoenix College.

“We believe healthcare is a top concern, as it can be cost-prohibitive, difficult to provide and have a profound impact on employees. Good health is good for business!” said Mónica Villalobos, president and CEO at AZHCC.

Along with learning more about community resources available to them year-round, several services will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, including blood pressure and glucose checks, dental checks and fluoride treatments and vision screenings.

Free mammograms will also be available; however, interested individuals must register on their website prior to arrival. Register at the Banner Health sign-up form.

Kids will also receive a free haircut and take home a filled backpack as they prepare for the new school year.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Phoenix College North Gym, located at 1202 W. Thomas Rd., Phoenix.
