Pambazos, quesadillas, tamales and gorditas will be for sale in Montclair this Saturday to raise funds for Jose Colin, who, his family said, was detained by ICE.
The family also has a GoFundMe campaign where they posted that Colin was “a devoted father, husband, brother and friend.”
They also posted that he was denied his right to habeas corpus. “Donations will help support his family, legal fees, and safety-related expenses,” states the post.
CALÓ News has not been able to independently confirm his detention by ICE. A search through the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Online Detainee Locator System did not result in a matching record.
The Mexican food will be on sale on Saturday, March 28, from 2 pm to 10 pm at 4300 Holt Blvd., Spc 45, Montclair, CA 91763. For more information: 909-218-0491 and 909-717-1236.
