Mexican American singer Cuco will judge a skateboard competition at the “Skate Around” event at Rowley Park in Gardena.
Cuco will be a judge in an open-format skate tricks contest. There will also be skate workshops taught by local skaters, a live DJ, skateboard customization stations and Mexican food trucks.
The experience sponsored by PUMA andShoe Palace will be held at Rowley Skate Park in Gardena, California, on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., bringing skateboarders and fans together to celebrate skate culture.
Described asindie’s most emotive up-and-coming artist, and a prolific multi-instrumentalist, Cuco will also skate around the storied park with attendees who secure a Golden Ticket when they purchase PUMA Suede in advance at a Shoe Palace store, located in Hollywood, Inglewood, Topanga, Los Cerritos, Bonito and Orange.
The Golden Ticket provides express entry to the skate park to skate around with Cuco, a limited-edition Cuco x PUMA Shoe Palace Tee, Major Waves on-site skateboard customization and a food truck ticket.
The winner of the skate tricks contest wins a custom skateboard.
