Summer is coming soon (although we’ve had some late Spring showers lately) and LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes will start its Summer of Salsa Concert Series this Friday, May 9.
The events will take place one Friday each month from 6pm to 11pm through September. This year’s lineup includes performances by Rumbankete, The Echo Park Project, Gabrielito y La Verdad, Arsenio Rodriguez, and Conjunto Oye—each joined by DJ Robby.
If you don’t know how to dance, this year’s salsa nights will include a beginner-friendly salsa class.
This free, all-ages event invites attendees to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Food by Tirzah's Mexi-Terranean and drinks by LA Plaza’s bar will be available for purchase.
