The Dodgers are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and Día de Muertos at the same time by giving out a Catrina bobblehead on Tuesday, September 24.
But that’s not all. The night will have plenty of celebration, music and more performances at the Centerfield Plaza Stage.
The party will start at 5:10 pm with DJ Que Madre, a vinyl virtuoso who plays a mix of hip hop, R&B, cumbia, reggaetón and world tunes. The music will continue with Mariachi Las Catrinas, a performance by the all-female Boyle Heights-based group. Then at 6:15 pm, the Contemporary Arte in Movement will blend dance and theater in their performance.
To finalize the show, Anthony Gonzalez, best known as the voice of Miguel in “Coco,” will be singing “Un poco loco” and “Remember me” with Mariachi Las Catrinas. Madison Baez will perform the National Anthem.
Then after all the festivities, the Dodgers play the San Diego Padres. Tickets are on sale now.
