GOP Candidate for Governor Steve Hilton is an immigrant who got his shot at the American dream—then climbed the ladder and started pulling it up behind him. California welcomed him, gave him a home and a platform, and now he backs policies that would make that same welcome harder for other immigrants. The problem isn’t that Steve Hilton came to the USA. It’s that he seems to have forgotten what this country gave him.
