In this video, Jazmin Garcia takes us on a personal journey of growing up in a community-centered environment in San Diego, surrounded by vibrant Mexican individuals. However, as Jazmin's perspective expanded, she realized the Latino community was much larger than just Mexicans. Fast forward to the present day, Jazmin now lives in a skyscraper in downtown Chicago, surrounded by a community that is more white than Latino due to affluence.
Despite living in a luxurious rented apartment, Jazmin Garcia has yet to achieve her aspirations of owning a multi-unit home.
