Actor and television host Mario Lopez celebrated his 51st birthday with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Lopez rose to fame with his portrayal of the “muscle head” A.C. Slater in “Saved by the Bell.” In 2020, he reprised his role in the Peacock reboot.
The Access Hollywood host teared up during the ceremony, where he was joined by his wife Courtney Lopez and their children Gia Lopez, Dominic Lopez and Santino Lopez. Mark Wahlberg also spoke about Lopez, saying he admires his work and how he prioritizes on his family.
“Best birthday ever,” Lopez said to Access Hollywood.
