Sick City Records, a Latino-owned and operated record store in operation since 2006, is raising funds to prevent shutting down in Echo Park due to an increase in rent.

The record store specializes in rock, punk and alternative music and features performances by local bands and sells their merch. They also have a large selection of vintage rock tees. It is pet-friendly and also has a full-service barber shop.

This is a Revolver singer will be there on Sunday, November 16, to give out tickets for their show at the Smell on November 21 to raise funds for the record store.

They have a GoFundMe to raise money as well. Sick City Records is located at 1381 W. Sunset Blvd. Open Tues-Sun from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. 323-668-2088
