On Tuesday, November 26, the nonprofit Pico Union Project will give away 1,000 free turkeys in celebration of its 11th annual “Festival Comunitario del Faithsgiving.”

Not only are community members receiving turkeys but also fresh produce, pantry staples, clothing, diapers, backpacks, school supplies and more. Additional community resources will be on offer, including from the Department of Mental Health, the QueensCare Vision Van, LADOT and United Way.

The Faithsgiving festival features live entertainment provided by Bob Baker Marionettes, the award-winning all-female mariachi ensemble Mariachi Las Colibri, Tegan the Clown and a performance by artist and musician Norton Wisdom.
