It was a big night for Becky G at the 2025 American Music Awards, taking home the award for Favorite Female Latin Artist for the third time, having previously won in 2020 and 2021.
She also performed “QUE HACES” with Manuel Turizo. Becky G began singing on one side of the venue, while Manuel Turizo started from the center of the stage, meeting halfway and blending their voices in unison in the soft Latin dance song.

Following her performance, Becky G also shared a moment with Gloria Estefan and Jennifer Lopez, who embodied the multigenerational Latin presence throughout the night.
Becky G has an upcoming documentary, “Rebbeca,” which will premiere at the Tribeca Festival on June 12. The project follows her journey through the creation of her regional Mexican album “ESQUINAS,” offering an intimate look at the roots that shaped her and the complexities of her personal and cultural history.

The Inglewood native plans to perform at the Festival Mawazine in Morocco next month.
Bad Bunny won two awards for Favorite Male Latin Artist and Favorite Latin Album for his album “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS,” while Julión Álvarez y su Norteño Banda won for Favorite Latin Duo or Group.
Álvarez and his group were scheduled to play a sold-out concert at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Saturday, but he posted on Instagram on Friday, May 23, that their visas were cancelled and they would not be able to play.
Shakira’s “Soltera” won the Favorite Latin Song award.
The winners of the American Music Awards are chosen by fans.
