On Thursday, December 4, the Latin Grammy-nominated artist Ángela Aguilar returned to Los Angeles to deliver an outstanding performance at the Dolby Theatre on her Libre Corazón Tour.

As part of her headlining Libre Corazón Tour, Aguilar has delivered three explosive shows across Texas – Dallas, San Antonio and Houston –closing out the first leg. The second half of the tour has now officially kicked off and will wrap on December 13.

The shows, promoted by Live Nation, have showcased  her new album “Nadie Se Va Cómo Llegó” to the stage for the very first time, while also celebrating Aguilar’s career with fan favorites like “Que Agonía,” “La Chancla” and her iconic interpretation of the classic “La Llorona.”

The Mexican American singer also captivated the audience with unique, show-stopping outfits crafted by her longtime costume designer Enrique Samartin, complemented by a grand, vibrant production that honored her Mexican heritage as she performed for hundreds at the Dolby Theater.

In a touching moment, Aguilar spoke about her grandmother Flor Silvestre’s legacy as a singer and actress who broke barriers in a male-dominated industry. She shared how grateful she is for the path her grandmother created for her and for the women who can now embrace rancheras in today’s world.

Earlier this year, the singer was also recognized at the Billboard Women in Music 2025 event with the Breakthrough Award,  dedicating her moment on stage to immigrants. “I want to take this moment to raise my voice for the women whose voices are not always given a stage, for the women who leave behind everything they know, crossing borders with nothing but hope in their hearts, only to find themselves living in uncertainty and fear for the immigrant women in the country who work tirelessly building and nurturing, sacrificing, yet still remain unseen, unheard and unprotected. This one is for you. I see you. I honor you,’’ said Aguilar after her touching performance of “Cielito Lindo.”

She also reflected on a full-circle memory, explaining that her only previous visit to the Dolby Theatre was when her mother, pregnant with her, attended the show where her father, Pepe Aguilar, made history as the first Latino to perform there.

Thursday’s show highlighted Aguilar’s breathtaking talent, cementing her presence as a commanding force on stage as the crowd responded with nonstop energy.
