(Latino Equality Alliance)
The Latino Equality Alliance is accepting applications for its annual scholarship program. LGBTQ+ Latinx students interested in the organization’s mission and the broader LGBTQ+ movement are encouraged to apply.
LEA Scholarship Program recipients also participate in career and professional development workshops led by Latinx LGBTQ+ leaders.
Since launching in 2018, LEA’s LGBTQ+ Youth Scholarships have awarded more than $160,000 to help students reach their educational goals.
“Our goal at the Latino Equality Alliance is to open doors and create pathways for LGBTQ+ youth to follow their dreams and become leaders in their communities,” said Eddie Martinez, executive director of LEA. “Each scholarship recipient reminds us what’s possible when young people are supported, affirmed, and given the opportunity to succeed.”
