In 2025, Latinos made headlines all across Los Angeles and California. Our top stories reflect that. We learned about a digital wizard in Gov. Gavin Newsom's social media team. We learned about a Latino citizen arrested after witnessing a co-worker being detained by federal agents, also known as ICE agents. Some of our opinion pieces about the Dodgers and their silence towards the immigration raids that fell upon Los Angeles and the surrounding counties also made our top list. Then, to finish off our top five stories of 2025, is a story about the best Latina moments in music. This year was all about Latinas, Latinos and Latinx doing their best in the face of adversity, as the top authorities in this country look at some of us with suspicion, we still thrive. Here's to a 2026 where we continue to be the best we can be for each other and for our communities.
