Northgate González Market is launching a companywide cash register fundraising campaign across all 44 stores. Northgate Market will match every customer donation dollar-for-dollar, up to $75,000.
The campaign, “Unidos Por Nuestra Comunidad” (Together For Our Community), began Tuesday, November 18, and runs through Sunday, December 7. Shoppers can round up their change at checkout, with every contribution directly benefiting families in schools and churches in the neighborhoods Northgate Market serves.
“This holiday season, too many of our neighbors are wondering if they’ll have enough food to care for their families,” co-president Jesus González said in a press release. “At Northgate Market, we believe no one should carry that worry alone. When we step forward in faith and generosity, even the smallest act of giving can ease someone’s burden. We are humbled to match every donation because we know, together, we can bring hope, dignity, and nourishment to families who need it most.”
To participate, customers can donate during checkout at any Northgate González Market location. Store locations can be found at www.northgatemarkets.com.
