The second annual SoCal Taco Week returns this month with an eight-day-long culinary celebration across Los Angeles and Orange County. Taking place from April 19-26, the event highlights the culinary skills of the Latino community while also supporting local businesses.
Hosted by SoCal Food & Beverage, the event brings together taco enthusiasts, local eateries and culinary influencers to uplift the richness and creativity of the region’s taco scene. The event features everything from traditional street tacos to modern and plant-based options, celebrating the flavors, cultures and people that make Southern California a top taco destination.
“SoCal Taco Week is more than a food event,” said Leysla Rubino, executive director of SoCal Food & Beverage and organizer of the initiative. “It’s a platform designed to elevate independent restaurants, celebrate cultural culinary heritage and connect communities through meaningful dining experiences.”
The lineup will feature over 50 restaurants and popular local taquerías. Early participants include: Avila’s El Ranchito, El Charro, Descanso, Teddy’s Red Tacos, Salt & Lime, TacoMPadre, Taco Shore, Komo’s Cocina, Chronic Tacos, Jimmy E’s Bar & Grill, La Chancla Mexican Grill, Coyote Grill, Casa Ramos, The Lobster Guys, Los Compadres, Carnitas El Momo, Amor A Mi, Taqueria Los Anayas, Franco's Famous, Taco Mesita, Lola Gaspar, Tacos El Unico, Fonda Moderna, Taco Mesa, Taco Rosa, Que Vida Taquería, Que Vida Tacos and many more.

“We're super excited to participate in this unique event as it's the perfect chance to share our restaurant with even more taco lovers,” added Chef Ismael Miramontes, owner of La Chancla in Long Beach. “It's awesome to see the Southern California community come together to support restaurants like ours during an especially challenging time for all restaurants.”
Participating restaurants will offer exclusive Taco Week specials that are priced at $5, $10, $15 and $20 taco combos, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy their delicious food.
Continuing the community-driven spirit of its second annual event, three restaurants will receive the Golden Taco Award at the end of the celebration based on public votes. SoCal Food & Beverage will count the ballots and name the winners for Best Street Taco, Best Specialty Taco and Best Fish Taco in Southern California.
