Copa Ameríca is in full swing and Venezuela will play against Mexico in their second round at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
Group B’s Mexico and Venezuela won their previous games against Jamaica and Ecuador, respectively. El Tri has the same three points as La Vinotinto. They will be looking to qualify for the final stages of the tournament.
Mexico won their game against Jamaica in the 69th minute, when Luis Romo recovered the ball on the edge of the opponent's area and passed to Gerardo Arteaga to shoot hard and rock the Jamaican net.
Fernando Batista's team marked the first comeback in Venezuela's history at Copa América. The two goals that turned the match against Ecuador came from substitutes and also marked the first tournament goals for Jhonder Cádiz and Eduard Bello in their debut.
The match at the Inglewood stadium on June 26 is not sold out yet. Tickets are still available, starting at $116.
