The second edition of the Copa Guate Banrural will bring together two of Guatemala's top teams.
The friendly match between “Cremas” of the Comunicaciones Soccer Club and the “Rojos” of the Municipal Social and Sports Club is endorsed by the Guatemalan National Soccer League.
"The Banrural Cup is an appointment with emotion, history and identity,” said Juan Luis Fonseca, general manager of Banrural. “So that our brothers and sisters who live in the United States, especially in California, can once again feel that deep connection with their country, with their roots, with their people. It is the way to express our gratitude for their loyalty and trust.”
The stadium will open its doors from 3:00 p.m. for the presentation by Guatemalan band Alux Nahual at 4:00 pm before the match and during halftime.
Soccer legends Juan Carlos Plata, Martín Machón, Juan Manuel Funes and Mario Acevedo will be representative Ambassadors in the Cup.

The game is on Sunday, September 7, at 5:00 p.m. at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Tickets are on sale through www.ticketmaster.com, with prices starting at $25, offering multiple locations for entire families to live this experience in the United States.
