Homeboy Industries, the L.A. based nonprofit and world’s largest reentry program, which supports formerly gang-involved and formerly incarcerated people, will be hosting a community pop-up, called Hope Alley.

The event aims to support local Los Angeles street vendors and small businesses experiencing hardship. There will also be vendors, food, music and more, with all the proceeds going to the Los Angeles Street Vendors Campaign.

According to Homeboy Industries,Hope Alley is fully run by participants in the organization’s 18-month reentry program, along with other “Homies.” The event will transform Homeboy Industries headquarters into a safe space where the community can come together to eat, connect, and raise funds for those who are currently unable to work.

The event will take place on February 20 and will be located at 130 W. Bruno Street in Los Angeles. Hope Alley is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
