This year, the boys in blue are celebrating the Salvi community with a Salvadoran Heritage Night on Tuesday, August 27, in a game with the Baltimore Orioles.
With a population of 438,782, Salvadorans are the second largest group of Latinos in Los Angeles County. The Dodgers hosted their very first Salvadoran Heritage Night in 2023, and it returns this season with a special jersey giveaway.
The free jersey features the Salvadoran flag on the back side with vibrant blue, white, green and yellow. A variety of heritage nights have taken place throughout the 2024 season, including Mexican Heritage Night, a success with tickets being sold out less than a week away from the game, Native American Heritage Night, Armenian Heritage Night, Japanese Heritage Night, Jewish Heritage Night and many more to come.
