Lalo on CALÓ: Angel's flight
Three people lost their lives Tuesday night when NewsChopper4, the helicopter providing news coverage for NBCLA and Telemundo 52, crashed in Chatsworth. Those aboard the helicopter were Angel City Air reporter Eliana Moreno, a familiar voice on NBC4 and Telemundo 52’s aerial coverage, and pilot George Marciniw. Both were killed in the crash, along with 29-year-old Edy Gutierrez Mejia, who was on the ground. The crew were members of a small community of journalists who spend their days above Los Angeles, documenting its breaking news, traffic, fires and everyday life from the sky. They went up to help tell the stories of this city and never made it home. Clear skies and a final sign-off.
