The first Chicano exhibit in Bellas Artes
“AztLÁn: Túnel Del Tiempo” is the first exhibition dedicated to Chicano art at El Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City.
The landmark exhibition brings together over 70 works by more than 30 contemporary artists and collectives from Mexico and the United States, primarily Los Angeles.

The exhibition “AztLÁn: Túnel Del Tiempo” will be on display at El Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City until Sept. 27, 2026.

More than 30 artists and collectives of Mexican and Latino descent, mainly from Los Angeles, are on display at Mexico City’s Palacio de Bellas Artes. The exhibition, titled “AztLÁn: Tunnel of Time,” marks the first time one of Mexico’s most prestigious cultural institutions has had a show dedicated to Chicano art.
