Sounds of L.A. County is presenting free concerts throughout Los Angeles County parks this summer with local musicians and bands from the neighborhoods.
The free concerts happening every Thursday, Friday and Saturday are organized by L.A. County Parks and NextFest LA and are curated to reflect the culture, diversity and energy of each one of the communities.
Every show gives community members an opportunity to discover new artists shaping the county. The programming spans from Latin, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Reggae, Country, Americana, Indie and much more.
Each concert will also feature an evening with delicious food, helpful resource booths and interactive activities for the whole community.
For the rest of the month of August, more than 50 concerts are to take place in parks in north, east and south Los Angeles, including La Puente, Sylmar, Antelope Valley, Carson, Azusa, West Covina, Palmdale, Lancaster and more. The next upcoming free event dates are the following:
