“Los Malaventurados No Lloran” is now available on all digital platforms.

For all of us who have said, “Mom, it wasn't just a phase,” La Nueva Ola de Cumbia takes us on a nostalgic ride to the emo era with their latest single, “Los Malaventurados No Lloran.”

This new single, a classic originally recorded by the band Pxndx, is now reimagined with La Nueva Ola de Cumbia’s signature sound and a vibrant touch of electro cumbia, transforming it into a track that’s impossible not to dance to.

La Nueva Ola de Cumbia is best known for their playful and inventive covers, blending cultural nostalgia with genre-bending sounds and a dose of humor, especially in their music videos.

“So you can cry while you mop and let out both your steps and your forbidden emotions. We are releasing this version of ‘Los Malaventurados No Lloran,’ which we are very happy about, as it marks the beginning of another facet of our sound: emo-cumbia. We hope everyone enjoys it and feels a lot while they dance,” says the band in a statement.

“Los Malaventurados No Lloran” is now available on all digital platforms.
