On Saturday, September 14, the biggest rivalry in Mexican soccer returns, this time to the city of Whittier for Grito de Leyendas, a legendary match featuring iconic former players from Club Guadalajara and Club América. The match will take place at Sandy T Stadium.
In addition to the match, fans will enjoy a family-friendly fan festival with live music, a food court, contests, games and more. This is an event that gives the community the opportunity to reconnect with their roots, celebrate Hispanic Heritage month, and share their passion for soccer.
Confirmed legends set to take the field for this iconic match include Chivas greats Ramón Ramírez, Marco Fabián, Carlos Salcido, Miguel Ponce, Joel Sánchez, Héctor Reynoso and Jonny. Representing Club América are Matías Vuoso, Reinaldo Navia, Jesús Molina, Maza Rodríguez, and Aarón “Gansito” Padilla, among others.
