Join Latina Golfers on April 13, 2024, for a screening of the new movie "The Long Game."

"The Long Game" is a beautiful, inspirational true story about five young Mexican Americans who, in 1957, were barred from playing on the courses where they caddied. They decided to build their own golf course in the South Texas desert, which led them to ultimately winning the State Championship with the help of their superintendent-turned-coach.

The movie is all about teamwork, determination, effort, honor and respect. It’s directed by Julio Quintana, whose films explore the beauty and strength of the human spirit.

The Latina Golfers Association (LGA) has introduced thousands of individuals to the game of golf. The LGA empowers women by teaching them how to use golf as a business tool. What started as a passion and love of the game for founder Azucena Maldonado, quickly turned into a movement with over 5,000 members.

"The Long Game" is great viewing for organizations, groups and individuals of all ages. Click here to watch the trailer and find out more.
