Looking for a fun way to celebrate Women’s Month? Join Latin American Cinemateca of Los Angeles (LACLA) for a special free screening of “Alemania”, written and directed by Maria Zanetti. The event celebrating women filmmakers in collaboration with the Consulate Generals of Mexico and Argentina in Los Angeles will take place on March 28.

Prior to the screening of the film, there will be a taped interview with the film’s director Maria Zanetti, conducted by Guido Segal, LACLA program director. The special screening of the coming-of-age drama film “Alemania,” is a story about a young 16-year-old teenager, who dreams of escaping her challenging home life. This film is part of LACLA's Cine Nueva Onda New Wave selection.
