Snow That Product

Still from teaser video for "Bless Your Heart," by Snow Tha Product.

Rapper Snow Tha Product teased her new song on social media, calling out those she calls “fake Christians” who don’t acknowledge Jesus’ teachings about immigrants and foreigners.

In a short video she shared on social media, she sits in a church pew behind a pearl-clutching lady holding a Bible as she looks toward the front.

“How’d that cross necklace get over your horns?” the Mexican American rapper asks in the teaser video for “Bless Your Heart.”

Snow Tha Product asks in her post if people want the song to drop on Wednesday next week.

“I’m tired of fake Christians hiding behind the Bible,” she said.

“Jesus was a foreigner. Virgin Mary, you would have deported her,” the bars continue, accompanied by a Gospel-style organ in the background. “You don’t get to pray for me. You won’t ‘bless your heart’ out of this one,” she continues. “God is probably getting tired of being name-dropped by fake Christians.”

The San Jose, California, rapper has previously referenced Latinos who voted for Trump in her song “Sabado,” which calls out family members at a party who voted for the current president.

During her appearance at Fuerza Regida’s Don’t Fall in Love Fest in November, she called out Trump supporters who were backstage during the performance.

“There’s a lot of Trump supporters backstage too,” Snow said

Snow Tha Product also points out other social issues in her music, like those who uphold misogyny, machismo and marianismo in Mexican culture.

Other female rappers are also calling out Mexican Trump supporters and his administration’s immigration enforcement, like Reverie in her song “Brown Representation” and the hypocrisy behind religion, like Frosty from Orange County in the song “Know Me” with Intikana, Native Threat, Yaotl, Nvy Jonez Lkr, Rex Luger, & Azomali.
