The University of La Verne and the National College Resources Foundation will host the 12th Annual Latino College Expo on Saturday.

This is a free, one-day event connecting Latino and underrepresented students with over 50 colleges and universities, scholarships and vital resources.

The Latino College Expo provides a pathway to college and career success while celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with music, campus tours, and community activities.

Students can receive on-the-spot admissions, application fee waivers and scholarship offers, plus attend workshops on DACA, financial aid, STEM/STEAM careers, and more.

This event is open to everyone, especially high school and community college students, families and community leaders.

The University of La Verne is a Hispanic-Serving Institution and has stated its dedication to expanding access to higher education.

Recently, the Trump administration ended the $350M grant program that aided Latino-serving colleges. CALÓ News asked if the university had any statement or comment regarding the grant decision and will update this post if we receive any statement.

The expo will be held on Saturday, September 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. University of La Verne – Main Campus, 1950 Third Street, La Verne, CA 91750
