The trailer for “Holland” was released today and if you’re looking for a movie that is in the spirit of “Stepford Wives," which also stars Nicole Kidman, “Don’t Worry Darling” and a little bit of “Midsommar,” look no further.

After Kidman’s “Babygirl” which was released in December 2024 and Gael García Bernal’s “La Máquina”, comes this thriller story about an ideal small town in the U.S. called Holland.

Holland, Michigan is a real place but in this film, not all is as perfect as it seems. Kidman is the meticulous Nancy Vandergroot, a teacher and homemaker whose Instagram-ready life with her community pillar husband (Matthew Macfadyen) and son (Jude Hill) in tulip-filled Holland tumbles into a twisted tale.

Nancy and her friendly colleague played by García Bernal become suspicious of a secret, only to discover nothing in their lives is what it seems.

“Holland” is directed by Mimi Cave and written by Andrew Sodroski. The film will be available to stream worldwide in Prime Video on March 27.
