Global musical superstar Bad Bunny has been selected as the Halftime Show performer for Super Bowl 60, to be held in Santa Clara next year. MAGAs are losing their minds over the fact that the star who supported his native Puerto Rico by performing there and not in the mainland USA, rejects ICE and this authoritarian government. Rumor has it that the stadium will be rebuilt in a new style to reflect Benito's Boricua stylings...
According to a survey, fans want Cardi B to be a guest performer for Bad Bunny’s halftime show (33% of votes), followed by Drake (21% of votes) and Marc Anthony (14% of votes).
VegasInsider.com has surveyed more than 3,000 NFL fans to find out who they want to perform with Bad Bunny, who will be the artist in the halftime show of Super Bowl LX.
Fans are so excited for Bad Bunny to perform that they are even calling the event Benito Bowl.
Last week, Bad Bunny made history by winning the first Album of the Year Grammy award for an album in Spanish with “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS.”
Cardi B also made headlines when she performed on Saturday Night Live, dressed in a traditional Dominican dress for her song "Bodega Baddie" featuring Dominican merengue icon El Prodigio.
The rest of the top 10 most wanted guest performers are Enrique Iglesias (12.4%), Daddy Yankee (11.7%), Becky G (11.5%), J Balvin (5.9%), Young Miko (4.9%), Mambo Kingz (4.0%) and Rosalía (3.9%).
Personally, I’m partial to Becky G. First, because she is local, as an Inglewood native, it would be great for her to represent, since the Super Bowl is in California. Second, because his collaboration with Becky G, “Mayores,” was the first song where I heard about Bad Bunny.
The most wanted songs
"I Like It" is the most wanted song for Bad Bunny to perform during his halftime show setlist (18% of votes), followed by “Party” (6.7% of votes), “Moscow Mule” (6.1% of votes), “Tití Me Preguntó” (5.4% of votes) and “Dakiti” (4.3% of votes).
Other top 10 most wanted songs are “Yo Perreo Sola” (4.2%), “Mía” (4.0%), “Me Porto Bonito” (3.9%), “Where She Goes”, (3.2%), “Ojitos Lindos” (3.0%).
Bad Bunny is sure to play many of his top hits on his half-time show, I’m guessing “Tití Me Preguntó” will make an appearance, but “DTMF” will be a must and probably “NUEVAYoL” as well, since they are both hits from his Grammy-winning album.
Will his casita make an appearance? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
