Agents are seen stopping a car with a multiple-car collision.

A video on social media has gone viral as it captures federal agents fleeing the scene after crashing their unmarked gray vehicle into a family in Boyle Heights on Wednesday, June 11, at approximately 10:47 a.m.

According to the mobile Citizen application, the crash happened outside a store on the corner of Whittier Boulevard and Indiana Street. A woman who was interviewed by Telemundo 52 said that “ICE agents surrounded a mother and baby, harassed the family and struck their car three times” on the street.

The family car got hit once in the front and twice from behind, all while the agents deployed tear gas at the family multiple times. As they all stop their cars, you can see the officers point their guns at the family's white car. The driver immediately gets out of his vehicle and puts his hands up in the air and behind his head. Then an officer quickly grabs him and puts him inside an unmarked vehicle.

The video also captures a witness shouting that the mother has rights and demanding identification from the immigration agents, who allegedly laughed and left without providing any names or information.

The woman also stated that one of the agents even moved the damaged vehicle to clear traffic. Police and EMS were called after the incident and the family claims the officers never provided a warrant.

The husband who was detained, a United States citizen, was allegedly being targeted for participating in the protest that took place in the city of Paramount this past Saturday, June 7.

The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating the multi-car collision.
