Get ready for Christmas shopping! Soon you can take care of all your holiday gifts in one stop at LA Plaza’s Holiday Artist Mercado located in the heart of Downtown LA, featuring all-handmade and all-local goods on Sunday, December 14.

Community shoppers have the opportunity to meet the makers and explore and purchase jewelry, clothing, candles, home décor and much more.

The mercado will also feature DJs spinning vinyl throughout the day, live screenprinting, Acurrúcame Café serving warm drinks, a free creative gift-wrapping workshop and community partner booths.

LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes is also hosting a Bad Bunny look-alike contest. The first 15 people who arrive in Bad Bunny attire can compete. Early arrival is suggested as the contest runs from 1:00 p.m. – 1:30 pm. If you know any family and friends who look like him, make sure to send them over so they can have a chance to win $150.00. Second and third place will take home special goodie bags.

The outdoor mercado will also make available limited-edition t-shirts featuring Patrick Martinez’s “TIERRA Y LIBERTAD” neon sign design, with proceeds supporting LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes’ public programs and educational tours.
