The Amazing Vote Center Race! Flyer

This Monday, LA Forward is inviting all Angelenos to take part in The Amazing Vote Center Race, a citywide scavenger hunt where teams will travel to vote centers across LA, encourage community members to vote, share voter information and create social media content to help turn out their communities.

LA Forward believes that the city elections shape the future of housing, public safety, transportation, climate, homelessness, wages and the basic services people rely on every day. However, they have also realized that too many Angelenos are left out of the process or feel disconnected from local politics.

During this event, individuals have the opportunity to compete for exciting prizes, including a $500 Hollywood Bowl gift card for the winning team. At the end of the event, there will be a free community celebration at Gloria Molina Grand Park, which features a DJ, complimentary refreshments and speakers. The finish line location will be “unlocked” when a team completes the race or at 6 p.m.

How to participate:

In order to participate in the scavenger hunt individuals must form teams of three to five people, with the team captain registering and paying the team entry fee of $30. The captain will then receive a Google Form to submit the rest of the team’s information.

Community members who do not want to race are welcome to attend the free start line celebration at Gloria Molina Grand Park and the post-event celebration. No registration is required to attend the start or finish line parties.

“The Amazing Vote Center Race turns voting and outreach into a joyful, creative, citywide event, helping people see voting not as a chore, but as a way to build power together,” stated LA Forward.
