As heightened immigration enforcement activity makes its way into Phoenix and Tucson areas, more and more organizations, advocacy groups and institutions are increasing their support for immigrant and undocumented individuals and mixed-status families.
From LGBTQ+-led organizations, like Trans Queer Pueblo and Mariposas Sin Fronteras, who fight for the liberation of queer migrants, and groups like Aliento and Scholarships A-Z, that put the future of migrant students first, to rapid response networks like Puente Human Rights Movement and Borderlands Resource Initiative, Arizona has a plethora of groups providing resources.
This list of organizations based across Arizona is ever-evolving. If you encounter issues contacting any of these groups, have a specific experience you want to share about them or believe we’ve missed one, please contact us at arizona@calonews.com.
