This year, CALÓ News has transformed into a daily news publication, bringing awareness to advocacy groups that are providing help to our communities as well as posting about breaking news, culture, entertainment, policy analysis and even sports (Go Dodgers!). But we can’t do this alone. 

We need your help to continue to cover our communities with fairness, accuracy and understanding.  

In the aftermath of the election results, our focus continues to be Latino-centered journalism and our mission to bring you the news that matters. 

This week, our coverage includes stories about immigrant rights advocacy groups preparing for the incoming White House administration. 

In California, Governor Newsom and locally, Mayor Karen Bass have spoken out in defense of our state and immigrant communities and we are covering any action they take. 

We are not afraid to look into the Latino community and analyze what unites us and what separates us. CALÓ News reporters are committed to covering all aspects of the Latino political spectrum.

CALÓ News is a nonprofit news organization and all of our stories are available to read for free online. Please help us continue our mission to inform our communities.

We rely on donations and this is our end-of-year fundraiser in collaboration with NewsMatch, who will double all our donations until December 31.
