Lalo on CALÓ: Joseph Castro, RIP

Joe Castro served as the eighth chancellor of California State University (CSU), the largest and most diverse public university system in the nation. (and the first Chicano) Before this, he had helped my college aged kids with advice, phone calls, leads and connections. Yeah, Joe was connected- and helpful to a fault. He was a fellow Golden Bear and a friend. In gratitude and friendship, I created this image of him as the President of Fresno State University. It's a tribute called, "The Power of Joe", that he got to see before he passed away this Sunday. The families of California have lost a great advocate. Rest in the Power of Joe.
