Natanael Cano is not having a good summer.
After having his US visa revoked, preventing him from entering the country, the corridos tumbados singer encountered "technical issues" during his set at the Baja Beach Fest.
During Cano's headlining performance at the festival held in Rosarito Beach, he stopped his performance due to technical issues, which he seemed to blame on the DJ.
He started yelling and asking for a drink while on stage, then attacked the DJ.
“Get out of the way, I came to sing here, dumbass… This asshole, I’m going to kick his ass. He hit me,” he is heard saying in videos from the early Monday morning show. He also said the N-word several times.
During the video, you can see several people fighting on the side of the stage.
Later on, Cano takes a laptop, showing it to everyone in the crowd before smashing it on the floor and kicking it like a rockstar smashing a guitar.
Rolling Stone reported there was an "ongoing issue" with the DJ and Cano had vocalized the issues before. According to a source close to Cano, "He hit a breaking point."
He continued his performance after the incident, even bragging that he hit the DJ.
“On behalf of Los CT, we wish to clarify that neither the staff nor the production team of Baja Beach Festival had any involvement in the incident that occurred last night during Natanael Cano’s performance,” a statement from Cano's label read.
The Baja Beach Fest lineup this year included J Balvin, Don Omar, and Maluma as well as Young Miko, Anitta, Wisin, Myke Towers, Blessd, Danny Ocean and Rels B.
